Christmas Tilda with Cat

Good morning friends.
There is a new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under today. This week we are challenging you to use STITCHING, real or faux.

This adorable little stamp is Christmas Tilda with Cat. She is one of the cute stamps from the Little Christmas collection. She is just adorable!
The papers are Melissa Francis and all of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The dark green lace is from Magnolia and the lovely mint ric rak is a gift from my good friend.

I also want to share the cover of the new Magnolia Ink magazine - Turning Leaves.
I am a bit excited as the card shown on the cover is by my gorgeous friend Debbie - Yayayay! Congratulations Debbie.  It is stunning :o)

Next weekend is an exciting weekend for me. I'm heading down to Melbourne to Paperific, a large paper craft show in Melbourne.  I finally get to meet some of my crafting friends :o) It is just amazing the friendships we make via this wonderful craft and unfortunately we don't often get to meet these wonderful people in real life. I have been fortunate to meet a handful so far but this weekend is going to be a big one with lots of close friends all together. I can't wait! Magnolia are coming as well and Zoe and I will be demoing for them. It is going to be a fun filled weekend.

Editor Tilda has a cuppa

Hi there friends,
After a shocking week last week, I am very happy to say that this week is off to a very good start - phew!!
Well, the only way really, was UP!
There are some new challenges for you to play along with this week too....

All coloured with Copics, the embellishments are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have masked together adorable Editor Tilda from the Turning Leaves collection with the Tea cup from the A Little Yummy for your Tummy collection. I've also used the tea label from the same collection and used my image to decorate a little gift bag for friend. The bag will contain, yup, you guessed it - Tea!

Until later in the week,

Beary Kiss-Mas

Hi there everyone!
I have a tag here to share with you today with one of the new Little Christmas stamps.

I just adore the little bears from this collection. I tried a new colour combination with my Copics for his hat and scarf, R59, R56, E04 and RV 91. It gives a lovely plum finish that I was quite pleased with. Its fun to experiment :o)

All of the embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I broke out my Snowflake die for the first time too.

There are also some Doo Hickey cut tags poking out behind.

This adorable little fella is Cozy Christmas Bear. How adorable is he? I love his cute little scarf and hat. I had a ball colouring his fur up. Adorable.

Thanks for visiting me today!

TOMIC - Inspiration and theme

Hi there! It is TOMIC time again :)
This month is a fantastic new challenge - we have an inspiration photo, are looking for beach theme and also want to see a shell somewhere in your creation....stamped, as an embellishment, up to you.

I took inspiration from the colours and the layout of the gorgeous Magnolia Ink cover by DT Silvie. I adore her card which is showcased beautifully.

I went a bit snap happy when taking photos. I quite enjoyed colouring so my image looked "sepia" toned. My colouring is inspired by my good friend Debbie Dolphin. Her sepia toned water colouring is amazing!

This cute Edwin is from the Summer Memories collection, as is the sentiment.

And finally, a photo of the whole card. Sorry, I bet you thought we'd never get there, hahaha.

The blue berries are by Magnolia and the other flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have something to share again tomorrow so until then,
have a great day!

Scooter Tilda

Hi again, can you believe it? Two posts in one day, lol. Gosh. I  must be on a roll!
I really do enjoy playing with these adorable little Turning Leaves Magnolia stamps. They are just too sweet for words.

I have used loads of gorgeous WOC goodies on my card.

well... that's it from me today.
I'll be back in a few days with something else to share.
'Til then, Hugs x

Hiking Edwin

Hi there friends,
We have a new sponsor lined up - The Ribbon Girls. Thanks so much girls!

I have inked up Hiking Edwin and the matching background. These two were my "must have" stamps from the Turning Leaves Collection.
The papers are by Memory Box. I quite like the kraft feel of the papers .

The flowers, twine and brad are all from Wild Orchid Crafts
I hope you get a chance to come and play at MDUC this week. We'd love to see your interpretation of the sketch.

See you tomorrow!

Little Tilda

Hi there! Its the weekend already. Yay!
That of course means a new round of challenges out there in blog land.
I have a card here to share for The Sketchy Challenges.

I have adorable "Little Tilda" here from the new Little Christmas collection from Magnolia. I have used a lot of Magnolia papers and Doo Hickey dies on my card as well.

All of the edges are inked with Tea Dye DI. The amazing flowers and pearls are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Tilda is coloured with Copics and a generous amount of stickles were used again.
I have to say, normally I would feel quite odd making Christmas cards so early, but this year it feels really lovely. We are having a very cold winter over here in Canberra - possibly even snow tonight - so it feels somewhat appropriate to be making some wintery Christmas cards :)

I was quite happy with how this card turned out. It is a lovely stamp to colour - as are all of the Magnolia stamps in my opinion :)
I have a bust few days blogging ahead of me. All of my challenges seem to have aligned on the one weekend  each fortnight, lol.
Until tomorrow - have a lovely weekend!
